Development of 2,500 Housing Units under Social Housing Unit Scheme

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury of the Government of Republic of Maldives, desires to develop 2,500 housing units at Hulhumale’ under Social Housing Unit Scheme through developer financing and  now invites local and foreign eligible contractors to indicate their interest in the Development of 2,500 Housing Units at Hulhumale’.

Interested contractors must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the works (background of the contractors’ technical expertise, description of any similar contracts undertaken, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, value of those contracts, etc.). The firm shall be selected based on the qualification and experience.

Developer may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture to enhance their qualification and experience.

A more detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) for the Development works will be available on the Ministry’s website www.finance.gov.mv. Interested firms may obtain further information by writing to the address below.

The expressions of interests must be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified below, on or before 1400 hours Maldivian time on September 26, 2016.
